The new and improved HPC TLP-C pick, the MOD B is made of stainless steel and the tension is now controlled by a big knurled knob instead of the old rubber bands. Thus a very reliable and popular tubular lock pick has become an even better and even more reliable pick. While tubular lock picks work very similarly, there can be a world of difference in how WELL they work. I’ve had very good luck using this pick over the years. It’s a bit larger than some of the others on the market (size-wise), but it feels solid and it is very light weight. The system for adjusting feelers is effective and it makes short work of most 7-pin tubular locks.
