BALLS – are used for raking and are available in different patterns.
DIAMONDS – are used for picking or raking. They are especially effective on locks with wafer tumblers.
EXTRACTOR – are used to retrieve broken keys or other matter from inside the lock.
HOOKS – are used for actual picking 1 chamber at a time ( as opposed to raking) They are particularly useful when the lengths of the bottom pins are significantly different.
RAKES – are used for raking (manipulating pins in all of the chambers at the same time).
